Anyway, I been to few schools since end of last year. We decided to send her to International School instead of National school, although we both from national school and i myself graduated in University of Malaya and he was graduated with Master degree in UK.
Ok.. back to the topic, Our visit to this newly build and renovated international school- BEACONHOUSE NEW LANDS, located in Batu 9 Cheras, painted in very eye-catching purple colour, neighboring Sri Murni national school, they are actually gated under the same compound but in between the 2 schools, there is gate dividing them although they are sharing the same facilities like basketball court, swimming pool and etc.
i will share more about the facilities and physical approach during my visit in this post.
This is how the exterior of Beaconhouse Sri Murni looks like.
When we reach the place, we were warmly welcomed by the teachers and they bring Leanne to Sand Art corner in their auditorium, just to pass time. That was a new thing for Leanne as we never get her into this activity. Awesome to the arragement of Open Day.
While Leanne is enjoying the Sand Art, let's go have a look of the facilities 1st.
The swimming pool. You can see the national school of Sri Murni is right opposite it.
The library. This is young class department main for Nursery to Primary students. You can see from the colour combination, they are interesting, right.
Now you see the Spiral staircase which will bring you to higher level of student library.
Next, Come and see their Music room. Leanne loves drum sets, I can imagine she is playing drum here.Coming next, the art room.
The art room corner. A huge and colouring everywhere room.
Art materials.
Another corner full of paints and other art material.
The physic lab.
The chemistry lab. Very impressive.Clean and organised. After seeing most of the facilities available in the school, lets go have a quick view of the classroom.
This is the class for Reception and Nursery. There are less than 18 kids in the class. The class rooms are all air-conditioned.
This is the classroom for lower primary students.
As for upper level of primary classroom, you can see the more organised and serious appearance of the furniture organisations.
I did not approach the secondary classroom as they are in upper level and i was so tired to climb to the third floor.
After walk-around the school, of course, we went to visit the cafeteria at lower ground floor, to fill up our hungry tummy as well. The cafeteria is impressively nice and organised. It was air-conditioned. There are 2 main sections, as you can see in picture above, that is section for nursery to lower primary students.
I cant forget the taste of Nuggets prepared by them, the chef told me it is 'Ramly' nuggets.
I cant forget the taste of Nuggets prepared by them, the chef told me it is 'Ramly' nuggets.
Here the 'adults' section.
The basins in cafeteria. I forgot whether there is basin for younger students.
Finally, still have to show off my Leanne's 1st ever sand art production. Awesome to my sweetie.
Playing with the x'mas decor, and the giant bear.
I will share more info given by the teachers here next round, about their school approach, their teacher qualifications, the lessons offering, and so on.
Stay tuned!
